ANTICIPATED OPEN ADMINISTRATOR POSITION:

  • Assistant Junior/Senior High School Principal (Grades 7-12) / Special Education Coordinator (Grades K-12) - applications due April 20, 2026 

This dual role position is anticipated to be available for the 2026-27 school year (beginning July 1, 2026)


The Purchase Line School District is seeking a highly motivated and innovative educational leader who will assist the High School Principal in directing, supervising, and implementing the secondary program within the building. This individual will also supervise the special education staff and coordinate the special education programs offered by the school district to enable students with exceptionalities access the appropriate educational services.

 

This is a full-time, 12-month (260 days) permanent position designed to guide our outstanding students, support our dedicated staff, and strengthen community and school partnerships.

Required qualifications include a valid PA Instructional II teaching certificate, PA Principal’s certification, PA Supervisor of Special Education certification and a minimum of five years successful teaching experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.

 

Preferred qualifications include prior building administrator experience; expertise in compliance with special education federal and state laws; knowledge of budget preparation and management; experience in monitoring in-district case loads and out-of-district placements; familiarity with Chapters 14/16 regulations, PA standards, and curriculum instruction; and the ability to implement and direct programs.
