Due to the projected winter storm expected to begin tomorrow morning in both Indiana and Clearfield Counties, Purchase Line School District will be operating in Full Remote Learning in lieu of a snow day on Wednesday December 16, 2020. Since the high school was already fully remote because of COVID cases, this impacts the elementary school by having them go fully remote tomorrow.
These decisions are difficult to make as an early call, but I feel it is the safest decision for our students and staff based on the weather Forecast for the area. Tomorrow will count as a full instructional day and will not have to be made up at a later We will be delivering meals tomorrow morning for the high school in the same manner that was done today. Elementary students were given meals that went home with them today.
I will be monitoring the storm and conditions tomorrow to see if further actions are needed for Thursday.
Please continue to stay safe and well.
