Governor Wolf: School Closure Extended/Stay-At-Home Order
Governor Wolf has announced that all Pennsylvania schools are “closed until further notice.” This means we no longer have a target date for reopening our schools this school year. While it may still be possible that we receive direction to reopen, we are also preparing for the possibility that our schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year. Additionally, Governor Wolf has extended his stay-at-home order to all residents in the Commonwealth. PLSD is allowed to continue meal distribution and continuity of education plan distribution to students during this order.
Continuity of Education Plan: Teacher Office Hours
Our teachers will be reaching out to students/parents this week as an initial communication contact. Please keep in mind that teachers may contact you using the *67, which will make the call come up as “unknown” or “private” on their phone. They will be asking questions about technology that will help us plan as we build upon the current continuity of education plan. In addition to that, all teachers will keep office hours as listed below for students/parents to contact them.
Morning Office Hours
10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m
Afternoon Office Hours
1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
